The Application Process 

Alaskan Klee Kai being so rare, especially in the UK, all it’s breeders have had to develop an ‘Application process’. While this sounds very pretentious (we thought so too)  we soon discovered we could not keep up with the daily messages and emails. 

For this reason, we developed a form where people can answer our questions and the application is stored automatically so we can go through them when we have a litter planned. We do not do this to judge owners, but to see which pups suit best to people and who will maintain a relationship with us as breeders. Often we appreciate the honest ones the best even if you think it sounds bad. We do not work on a first come first served basis. Owners are picked on the reasons mentioned above, as well as if we have a puppy that works with what they need and vice versa. 

Please do not be disheartened by us not replying to your application immediately, we often read them and store them, and get back to people either when we get chance weeks later, or when to offer them a puppy. 
That being said, we are very small scale breeders, who only have 2 litters a year. these litters can have 1-4 pups a time, often usually only 2 pups. As you can imagine with 100s of applications, we cannot help everyone... as much as we would love to! So for this very reason we respect and even recommend joining waiting lists of other breeders too.
